The Long Drive…
We followed I-40 and parts of Route 66 from Albuquerque, NM to Nashville, TN for three days-camping and sightseeing along the way. Laney had never driven across the middle of the country and found it amazing we could drive for miles without seeing a single sign of life. The brown fields seemed to stretch on forever and we were thrilled to finally see lush green trees as we reached the South.
